Cigarette smoking kills 490,000 Americans every year. Most people who smoke want to quit. We're focused on helping them succeed.

Who We Are

The Network for Principled Nicotine Policy is a hub for scientists, physicians, public health advocates and nicotine product consumers who are working to eliminate cigarette smoking in the United States. We promote an evidence-based understanding of nicotine and tobacco products, equip policymakers and media with reliable facts, and counter misinformation about nicotine and tobacco products.

Our goal: smarter policies, fewer people smoking, and healthier communities.
